12 Signs That Those Jeans Were Not Meant For You • MetDaan

Many of us get the same issues while shopping for jeans. We stay there for long periods of time, and sometimes, it’s just exhausting. Some women even think shopping for jeans is the worst experience. I don’t think it’s that bad, once you know what you want and what you’re looking for. If it’s time for shopping, don’t get disappointed. There are certain tricks you can follow so that you end up with the right pair. Sometimes, it’s time to say goodbye to the old jeans or the ones you are currently dying to buy. Some signs need to be followed, and it’s for your own good. One day, I know you’ll be grateful you tossed that super tight pair you thought was meant for you.

Here are some obvious signs that the jeans were not meant for you!

1. There is excessive pulling at the crotch

You know those annoying lines you get at the crotch? It means you have to go up a size and get the waist tailored. Also, it might mean that the rise of the jeans is too large. Anyway, go for a lower rise jean style and you’ll look perfect.

2. They’re saggy in the butt area

The best jeans for you will accentuate your body in the best way. Because, of course, you want to show off how good your body looks! Saggy jeans are a no-no!

3. They’re too tight on the butt

If they really fit you, the fabric won’t cling upward or inward. Look at yourself in the mirror and make sure the fabric and the style accommodate your body shape.

4. The zipper takes too much of your time

If you can’t get your jeans on and the zipper up after sucking it in, I’m sorry. You probably need to give them up.

5. They’re too big and look sloppy

Boyfriend jeans are still in style, so you can still rock the baggy look. There is one important note, though. You have to make sure you can’t slip out of them without undoing the zipper. If you can, they are not the right size!

6. The crotch fabric doesn’t stay in place

It’s important to notice where the fabric sits on your body. The crotch fabric shouldn’t be so low that they look like harem pants.

7. They might be too short for you

Cropped jeans are great when you compare them with a pair of heels. However, if they are far above your ankle or if they don’t even cover the top of your heels, it’s time to let them go.

8. They might be too long for you

And here comes the opposite problem. You will know it if they bunch up with all the extra fabric near your ankles.

9. You can’t bend over or sit comfortably in them

Whatever feels uncomfortable is crap, I’m telling you.

10. They are giving you red marks

Skinny jeans are meant to be tight, but not meant to give you red marks. So stop risking your health and get a bigger size.

11. They give you a muffin top

This is just another sign that they are too small. The tight fabric will push your skin up and give you a muffin top. Size up for the sake of everyone!

12. The zipper won’t stay up

Just when you thought the zipper finally stays on the top, and, ooops, it comes down again. Time to say goodbye!

Here is an interesting jeans trend that not all people adore.
